Academy for Outstanding Graduate Pedagogy

The AOGP is a collaborative organization between the graduate student body and the Graduate School, with the central directive of celebrating excellence in graduate teaching and providing support to graduate teaching efforts across university contexts.

The mission of the Academy for Outstanding Graduate Pedagogy at Virginia Tech is to recognize, celebrating, and honor exceptional pedagogical work by graduate students and support outstanding graduate student pedagogues and their contributions to the university learning community; and advance and inspire student-centered, and joy-focused graduate teaching and learning across institutional contexts through collaborative partnerships and dynamic outreach, and thus contribute to the mission of the university.
